Chika Ike, the popular Nollywood actress, has welcomed the arrival of her first child, a baby girl.
The actress announced the arrival of her bundle of joy on her Instagram page on Thursday, posting adorable photos of herself and her newborn.
In her caption, Ike described her child as “my sunshine” and expressed her joy with celebration emojis.
“My Baby is here 🥳🎉🎊🍼….. Welcome to the world my sunshine,” she wrote.

The actress also shared pictures of the gifts she received from her well-wishers, showcasing the love and support she has gotten since announcing the birth of her child.
Ike’s childbirth comes after last month’s rumours that billionaire businessman Ned Nwoko was the father of her baby.
The rumours sparked speculation about a potential crisis in Nwoko’s marriage to actress Regina Daniels.
However, both Ike and Nwoko denied the claims.
The politician described them as “malicious speculation”. He said he was currently focused on a national assignment and had no time for distractions.
The actress also made it clear that she was not interested in being Nwoko’s seventh wife.
Ike announced her pregnancy last month but did not reveal the father’s identity.
