Idris Okuneye, a crossdresser also known as Bobrisky, has opted for an angel inspired costume photoshoot to mark his birthday — one year after his 2019 party was invaded by the Lagos police.
The controversial internet personality took to his Instagram page on Monday to share a slew of photos where he is seen in a garden, adorned in a white outfit to which radiant white wings were attached.
“Birthday MOOD! I’m not getting older, I’m just becoming MORE CLASSY,” he wrote in one of the posts.
The internet celebrity recently acquired a new Mercedes Benz SUV to mark his birthday.
Ahead of Bobrisky’s birthday celebration in 2019, Zubairu Muazu, the state commissioner of police, had ordered water-tight security at two locations to prevent a potential “breach of public peace”.
The crossdresser, thereafter, lamented the loss of over N19 million spent on event of his birthday to a disruptive raid by the police.
Bobrisky has been making headlines for several controversial reasons, including claims about severing his genitals, having numerous boyfriends as a man, and wanting to date married men.
Last year, he had starred in a movie which the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) sought to critique over fears it might have used Nollywood as a platform to preach homosexuality.
