Bobrisky, the self-acclaimed transgender, has apologised for “humiliating” Tonto Dikeh, the Nollywood actress, amid her failed relationship with Prince Kpokpogri.
Dikeh and Kpokpogri have been in the news ever since their romantic relationship hit the rocks, with the pair engaging in a heated face-off on social media platforms.
Amid the ensuing drama, Bobrisky had taken a dig at the film star, who was previously her friend, saying “I’m enjoying aunty disgracing herself everywhere.”
The crossdresser had also alleged that Tonto Dikeh was owing her millions of naira and has refused to pay.
But in an Instagram post in the early hours of Tuesday, Bobrisky said he didn’t know what came over him while he was insulting the actress in his previous posts.
The social media celebrity, who also apologised to their fans, added that he and Tonto Dikeh do not necessarily have to become friends.
“Tonto, I humiliated you here so is a must I come back here to apologise for calling you out !!! I honestly didn’t know what came over me, but I later realise I was wrong… please find it in your heart to forgive me,” he wrote.
“Yes, I might have be there for you as friends, the truth is you were also there for me at some point of my life. Please find it in your heart to forgive me once more. We necessarily shouldn’t be friends no more but let me apologise for calling you out.
“To my fans, and to tonto fans I’m sorry many of you are disappointed at me, please forgive me and I promise never to repeat this no more. @iamfaithojo mummy thanks for giving me the best advice God bless you ma, you are truly a mother who don’t support evil.”
Tonto Dikeh is yet to react to his apology as of the time of this report.
The actress and Bobrisky are known for their intimate friendship in the past but the pair have been at loggerheads in recent months.
