Bimbo Thomas, the Nollywood star, has announced the death of her mother.
In a post via her Instagram page on Friday, the actress shared an image of a burning candle with the caption “taken too soon”.
“Rest on mother,” she added in the post that has continued to attract condolences from celebrities like Mercy Aigbe, Kemi Korede and Alesh Sanni.

The actress, however, did not provide context on the date and cause of her mother’s demise.
Bimbo was born on September 29 in the 80’s in Lagos. She grew up in Obanla area of Lagos.
Thomas started her acting career as a trainee with the Odun Ifa Group.
She is known for her character role in ‘Omo Ghetto’ and its sequel ‘Omo Ghetto: The Saga’. She played Nikky in the popular film produced by Funke Akindele.
The film star has also been featured in several movies like ‘Oludamoran,’ ‘Aye Are,’ ‘Eruku Nla,’ ‘Opolo,’ and ‘Omo Poly’.
Others are ‘Omoniyun,’ ‘Hell Cat’, ‘Omoniyun,’ ‘Honeymoon,’ and ‘Rancor’.
