BBNaija’s Pere: It’s my dream to become an evangelist, preach to millions before I die

Pere Egbi, former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, says his dream is to become an evangelist and preach the gospel to millions.

The actor and reality TV star announced this in a Twitter post on Thursday.

Pere said standing on the pulpit and preaching the gospel is one thing he desires to achieve before passing on.

“Forget this celebrity BS, I’m gonna stand on the pulpit someday and I’d preach the gospel to tens of millions. It’s my dream. The one last thing I have to do before leaving earth,” he wrote.

Pere featured in the 2021 edition of BBNaija titled ‘Shine Ya Eye’ and won by White Money.

His revelation comes a few weeks after Yul Edochie, the Nollywood actor, also disclosed it is time for him to become a minister of God.

Edochie claimed God made him a successful and famous actor so he would be able to reach a lot of people when he becomes a cleric.

“I have a calling to be a preacher of God, to preach the word of God through action. I have had this calling a long time ago actually, many years ago. But I always felt the time has not come or the timing wasn’t right. But now, it’s very strong. I feel the time has come,” he had said.
