Peace, first head of house (HoH) at the sixth edition of the BBNaija show, says he picked Yousef as her deputy because he is someone that will respect her decisions.
On Monday, the 26-year-old entrepreneur had clinched the much-coveted position after she defeated 21 other housemates in a keenly contested dice game.
She had thereafter selected Yousef, a 29-year-old teacher and model, as her deputy.
During her diary session with Biggie, the instructive voice behind the show, on Thursday, Peace said Yousef is someone who gives others “space.”
“Yousef was definitely my safe bet for deputy HoH. He was going to respect my decisions and space,” she said.
This year’s edition of the reality TV show, dubbed ‘Shine Ya Eye’, has started garnering momentum after a seemingly slow start.
Housemates are expected to entertain fans of the show while engaging themselves in a fierce tussle for the N90 million prize — the show’s highest since its debut.
Biggie had earlier introduced a new twist known as the wildcard and mandated the housemates to figure out who the wildcards are to get them evicted during the eviction show next Sunday
He thereafter unveiled Maria and Pere as the wildcards during the special diary session.
