Pere wins Innoson vehicle — five days to BBNaija finale

Pere Egbi, a housemate of the 2021 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), has won a brand new IVM Innoson car.

Pere received the brand new vehicle after emerging winner of a task played by the top 6 finalists on Tuesday night.

In the task, housemates were asked to pull down a bucket with stones. Pere finished first ahead of Cross, Angel, Liquorose, Whitemoney, and Emmanuel to secure the key of the car.

The development comes about five days to the completion of this year’s Big Brother Naija reality show, which commenced on July 24.

The winner of the N90 million grand prize would be announced on October 3 during the grand finale ceremony.

The organisers of the reality show had earlier angered some viewers after it asked Pere and Angel to exit the house in what was mistaken for an eviction.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the host, had explained that the pair were asked to leave the house, not the reality show.

This didn’t go down well with fans of Pere, who took to social media platforms, threatening to shun BBNaija.

Some others stormed the DSTV office at Ilupeju, Lagos to protest the controversial twist.

Biggie would later allow the pair to make the show’s finale for executing a task titled ‘Double Jeopardy Game’.
