Pere Egbi, former Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) housemate, has broken down after uninterrupted days of media tour.
A member of the reality TV star’s social media team confirmed the development to TheCable Lifestyle on Thursday.
Since the sixth edition of the show ended, the 36-year-old and other finalists have had several interactive sessions with media outlets and their fans.
According to the source, the actor started receiving drip in his hotel room on Wednesday night to recuperate from stress.
He added that visual artist is responding to treatment while expressing optimism that “he would be up in a short time.”
“He has been receiving drip all night in his hotel room after much stress. He is recuperating fast, and I believe that he will be up in a short time,” the source said.
The development comes a few days after a video of White Money, the show’s winner, also receiving treatment at an undisclosed facility surfaced online.
It also comes at about the same time when Instagram deactivated the account of the movie star.
Pere came third at the finale of this year’s edition of the show titled ‘Shine Ya Eye’.
He had started the show as a wildcard alongside Maria in a new twist introduced by the organisers for the recently concluded season.
