Rebecca ‘Nengi’ Hampson has emerged the ninth head of house (HoH) at the ongoing Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show.
The 22-year-old entrepreneur from Bayelsa state saw off competition from other housemates after securing the highest points during a keenly contested game on Monday.
This makes it the second time Nengi will win the HoH challenge.
It also makes her a finalist for this year’s edition of the reality TV show alongside Vee and Neo.
Biggie, the instructive voice behind the show’s screen, however, announced that there would be no deputy HoH for the week.

Biggie thereafter named Ozo, Dorathy, Laycon and Tricky Tee as four housemates up for possible eviction ahead of Sunday’s final live eviction.
This had come after the housemates, excluding Nengi, were divided into two groups of three people each and asked to nominate those that should be put up for eviction.

Ka3na and Lilo had become the first housemates to be evicted from the show followed by Tochi and Eric. Kaisha Umaru was next before Praise.
Tolanibaj, Wathoni and Brighto would later join the list followed by Lucy, whose eviction happened at the same time Erica was disqualified after receiving her third and final strike.
There are currently seven housemates jostling for the N85 million grand prize.
