White Money was crowned the winner of the 2021 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) edition at the show’s finale on Sunday.
The contestant beat his colleagues to the N90 million grand prize after a grueling 10-week run.
A total of 26 housemates had been ushered into the house to entertain viewers in the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season.
Twenty housemates were evicted while Pere, Angel, Liquorose, Emmanuel, and Cross made it to the finale.
At the finale, all other contestants were further removed, pitting White Money against Liquorose for the win.
White Money pulled 47% of the votes, Liquorose had 22.99% while Pere raked in 14.77%.
Cross, Angel, and Emmanuel amassed 6.44%, 5.3% and 3.23% of the total votes cast respectively.
As the 2021 winner, the grand prize of N90 million is to be handed out to White Money.
It is understood that the prize will be presented to the entrepreneur at 3 pm on Monday.
The sum of N30 million will be the cash prize while N60 million will cover travel and other gifts.
BBNAIJA ‘SHINS YA EYE’ RECORDS OVER 1 BILLION VOTES
During the grand finale, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the host, also disclosed that the show recorded a cumulative vote of over one billion from fans.
This is about a hundred million votes more than that of last year — the ‘Lockdown’ edition — which raked in over 900 million votes from fans.
