The plot follows Fiyin, who, after a devastating heartbreak, becomes convinced that her best friend Elo is her true soulmate. Things take a complicated turn when Elo returns from New York to propose to Yagazie, his secret girlfriend.

Meanwhile, 59-year-old Gbemi is caught between her long-term boyfriend and a former lover. At the same time, London-born Ivie arrives in Lagos with dreams of experiencing the ultimate “Detty December” only to find herself unexpectedly falling for Ajani.

The film features a stellar Nollywood cast, including Shaffy Bello, Wale Ojo, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Shalom C. Obiago, Rayxia Ojo, Teniola Aladese, Angel Anosike, and Folu Storms, along with singer Waje.

“For me, Ayra Starr represents what it means to be young and female and daring and brave and fearless — just being yourself,” Osiberu told Variety. “She was on the list from day one.”

The soundtrack features songs from Flavour and D’banj and iconic singer King Sunny Ade.

Osiberu is the founder of Greoh Studios. She is known for ‘Isoken’ (2017), ‘Sugar Rush’ (2019), ‘Brotherhood’ (2022), and ‘Gangs of Lagos’.

Earlier this year, she was honoured as one of the ’40 Most Powerful Women in International Film’.
