Abisola Kola-Daisi, daughter of Abiola Ajimobi, governor of Oyo state, has expressed her condolences over the death of Gbemiga Abiodun, better known as DJ Olu.

The disc jockey and a friend, Chime, were reportedly found dead in his car on Saturday.

His death sent shock waves through the Nigerian entertainment industry, as he was well known by many entertainers.

Expressing love for the late disc jockey in a post on Instagram Story, Kola-Daisi wrote: “My baby brother, the best uncle to my babies…My Gbems.

“Oluwagbemiga- God has lifted you up in heaven. I love you.”

Kola-Daisi, a 35-year-old stylist and fashion entrepreneur, is married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi.

Several celebrities have also paid tributes to the deceased on their respective social media pages.

Davido, a close friend and associate of DJ Olu, said “a part of me is broken,” in reaction to his death.

Wizkid, Dremo and DJ Spinall also mourned the demise of the disc jockey, with the latter writing: “It feels so wrong to post your picture up and write RIP. It feels so wrong.

“Despite how comfortable you are, you always work so hard just to earn it for yourself and others. This is wrong.”

DJ Olu is the son of popular businessman Dapo Abiodun.
