Ademola Adeyemo, the film star, has passed away as Nollywood loses four actors in over two weeks.

Kunle Afod, the film producer, confirmed that Adeyemo succumbed to a brief illness on Monday.

Afod also expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased actor.

In 2021, Adeyemo was diagnosed with severe health issues affecting his lung, liver, and kidney.

He also reached out to the public for financial assistance and successfully raised funds to undergo surgery.

Adeyemo was widely recognised for his contributions to Nollywood, particularly in the Yoruba film industry.

His death came less than a week after Chikezie Uwazie, another actor, passed away — after undergoing a second brain surgery.

TheCable Lifestyle also reported how Murphy Afolabi, the film star, died after he slumped in the bathroom on May 14.

The family of Saint Obi on May 18 confirmed the death of the ace actor.

Obi was said to have died on May 7.

The family said the funeral rites will be communicated to the public in due course.

They also asked that their privacy be respected at this “mourning time”.
