Segun Ogungbe, the Nigerian actor, has addressed the infidelity allegations made by his ex-partner Wunmi Ajiboye.
Ajiboye announced her separation from Ogungbe in 2024, accusing him of infidelity and inappropriate behaviour with her trainees.
“You will molest my trainees to the point one of them got pregnant and you made her abort it. What is it? Do you want to kill me, Segun? Do you want to ruin me? Leave me alone, go away,” she had said.
In June, Ajiboye clarified that Ogungbe is the father of her children, not her husband. She explained that they were never engaged or married, and that he never met any member of her family in a formal capacity.
In a recent interview on Oyimomo TV, Ogungbe described his relationship with Ajiboye as “pre-destined” and not something he had intended.
He stated that the allegations “do not bother me” because, as a theatre practitioner, he believes anything can happen. He added that he was not surprised by the accusations and is still expecting more.
“I didn’t intend to have another woman as my lover or baby mama, but whatever God has destined will definitely happen,” he said.
“On the allegations, I am a theatre practitioner, and I know there is nothing that cannot happen. I didn’t think about it at all. I wasn’t bothered because I was expecting it and I’m still expecting more.”
He, however, did not address her claim that he never met her family despite fathering two children with her.
