Davido, the Nigerian singer, has delivered the visuals for ‘Funds’, his recently released song featuring Odumodublvck and Chike.

Funds’ is believed to be part of Davido’s forthcoming album ‘5IVE’.

The project sees Davido sampling Brenda Fassie’s 1997 South African song ‘Vuli Ndlela’. He also dedicates the video to the memory of the late songstress.

Directed by Dammy Twitch, the video opens in an auction room with Gabriel Afolayan, the actor, serving as the auctioneer.

Davido is seen seated in the room before he is joined by Beauty Tukura, the former BBNaija housemate, on the other side.

They then begin to engage in the auction, bidding and showcasing their wealth.

Odumodublvck and Chike also add flavor as they take center stage to perform their lyrics.

Born David Adeleke, Davido rose to fame in 2012 after releasing ‘Dami Duro’, the second single from his debut album ‘Omo Baba Olowo’.

Since his debut album, he has delivered three other projects including ‘A Good Time’ (2019), ‘A Better Time‘ (2020), and ‘Timeless’ (2023).

Davido is also the founder of DMW, a record label established in April 2016. The music label has served as home to a plethora of music talents.

With several awards to his name, Davido has solidified himself as one of the leading artistes in Africa.
