Magixx, the Nigerian singer, has come through with his new single titled ‘Okay’.
The song was released across all music streaming platforms on Friday.
In the highly emotional track, Magixx bemoans the “wickedness of mankind”, saying only his mother has remained with him during his “darkest times”.
The singer also talks about his unwavering determination to make his family proud despite the pressure on his shoulders. In the song, Magixx also craves true love.
“You know mankind so wicked/ Na why me tread carefully every day/ See as I dey mind my business/ See say I dey mind my business/ Only your mama wants you bigger/ And when me dey for my darkest times/ Nobody to check on me then/ See as I dey grind for fitness/ Like ama soldier/ Family rest pon me shoulder/Never see clear when me sober/ So I must to roll one/ Life of a loner/ All of the stress I been under/ Pray that my cup runneth over over,” he sings.
Magixx, born Alexander Adelabu, also shared a snippet of the music video, showing his everyday grinding for success.

Magixx was unveiled by Mavin Records alongside an eponymous five-track EP in 2021.
In 2022, he released an EP titled ‘Atom’. Last year, he also put out two new songs titled – ‘Colors’ and ‘Loyal’.
