Keke Palmer, the US actress and singer, has accused Darius Jackson, her ex-boyfriend, of domestic violence in a fresh lawsuit.
In court documents obtained by US Weekly, Palmer alleged that she has been subjected to “many instances of physical violence” by Jackson over the course of their two-year relationship.
She also claimed that their relationship ended in October “primarily due to the physical and emotional abuse inflicted” by Jackson.
The actress has also filed for the custody of their 8-month-old son.
In her declaration, she describes specific instances of abuse by her ex.
“Destroying my personal property, including diaries and prescription eyeglasses,” she said.
“Throwing my belongings into the street, throwing my car keys to prevent me from driving away, hitting [me] in front of our son.
“Spewing profanities about me to our son, threatening to [unalive] himself with a gun if I left him, harassment and other physical and emotional abuse.”
Photos of the alleged abuse from Darius towards Keke have also surfaced online.
Palmer and Jackson began dating in 2021.
In February, they welcomed their son Leodis Andrellton Jackson.
In August, there were reports that the couple had separated.
Their separation came after Jackson publicly criticised Palmer’s outfit to an event hosted by singer Usher.
