JJC Skillz, the Nigerian singer and actor, says he won’t publicly announce his decision to remarry.
The music star has been in the news for purportedly tying the knot with a Kogi state native named Falilat Raji.
A blogger identified as Tosin Silverdamn claimed that JJC Skillz married the new wife in a private ceremony in Kano state.
In an interview with TheCable, JJC Skillz said marriage is a personal choice and he won’t want to make it public.
“If I decide to marry or choose which way I want to go, it will be a personal choice and I will not make it public,” he said.
This development comes nine months after JJC announced his split from Funke Akindele, the actress-politician.
The two call it quits with their union over what they described as “irreconcilable differences”.
Their union lasted for six years during which they had a set of male twins which they welcomed in 2018.
JJC Skillz rose to fame in 2011 after the release of ‘We Are Africans’, a song celebrating the black culture.
In 2013, JJC Skillz won the “best international artiste” category at the Nigerian Entertainment Award (NEA).
He created an African super group called the JJC and the 419 Squad.
The group went ahead to win the Kora All-African Music Award in 2014.
