Jide Kosoko, Ali Nuhu, and Terry G were among the celebrities who attended the presidential campaign flag-off of Bola Tinubu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The event took place at the Rwang Pam township stadium in Jos, Plateau state, on Tuesday.
According to NAN, the three celebrities were in attendance to show their support for Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, his running mate.
Other Nollywood and Kannywood stars who attended the event include Gentle Jack, Sani Mu’azu, Foluke Daramola, Zack Orji, Saheed Balogun, Taiwo Hassan, and Bimbo Akintola.
In his remark, Kosoko, who spoke on behalf of Nollywood actors, said they were in Jos to support Tinubu who he said has the capacity to tackle the country’s issues.
The ace actor argued that Tinubu has proven his mettle in all the positions he held in the past.
In the same vein, Nuhu, who spoke on behalf of Kannywood stars, solicited the support of Nigerians for Tinubu and Shettima.
Nuhu enjoined Nigerians who are yet to collect their permanent voters cards (PVC) to do so to enable them to vote for the APC presidential candidate.
The actor said he and his team would do everything to mobilise their members and fans for Tinubu and Shettima.
“I am here with some of my colleagues and we are here to pledge our support for Tinubu,” he said.
It was gathered that Terry G was among the musicians who performed at the event.
