Kunle Adeyanju, the Nigerian tourist who embarked on a bike ride from London to Lagos, says he was denied entry into Cote D’Ivoire.
In an update shared via his Twitter page on Sunday, the adventurer alleged that he was refused entry at the border despite traveling 400 km to get there.
Adeyanju did not disclose why he was not allowed into the West African nation.
He also said authorities at the Nigerian embassy are already addressing the issue.
“Denied entry into Cote D’Ivoire, had to turn back….. Sad! Nigerian embassies on it,” he wrote.

Adeyanju had earlier said the bike trip was to help raise funds toward sustaining Africa’s polio-free status. He also disclosed that his target is to raise the sum of N20 million.
The bike rider started the journey, which is expected to take 25 days, on April 19.
