The Nigerian Twittersphere has been sent into a frenzy following rumours that some ladies are offering sex as payment to drivers of Bolt, a transportation company network formerly known as Taxify, for their fares.
The rumours surfaced online on Thursday and instantly dominated the conversation on the microblogging platform all day long.
Though the source remains unknown, users have since taken to the social media platform to register their take on the issue with some using hilarious memes.
“If some women truly pay Taxify drivers with sex, technically it means the ridee rides the rider just to pay for her ride,” a user said.
“A Taxify driver told me recently that there’s no week he’s not being offered random sex by girls who don’t have cab fares. Wild,” said a user.
“Taxify of 3800 Naira, you’ll use sex to pay. Which one should we call it? SexForRides or SexForTrips,” another user said.
