Tacha, a housemate in the ongoing Big Brother Naija season four edition, has taken centre stage on social media platforms over her disqualification from the show.

She was sent packing from the house on Friday evening after she had engaged in a physical altercation with Mercy, a fellow housemate.

Mercy had, during the confrontation, aimed a dig at Tacha, stating that she needs to take care of her body because she “stinks”.

“You are very stupid, you Instagram beggar. Go and treat your body odour before you talk to me, you stink. At least, I have a boyfriend (Ike) to get me what I want. What have your boyfriend done for you?,” Mercy asked.

Big Brother found Tacha guilty of breaking the house rule of physical violence and intent to harm the moment she shoved Mercy and when she pulled her hair on two separate occasions. These acts of physical violence led to her subsequent disqualification.

Her disqualification from the show has since sparked a social media frenzy, especially on Twitter. It currently tops the list of trends.

Fans and critics alike have taken to the social media platform to register their take on Tacha’s exit from the house.

“Most of you hate tacha for no freaking reason, you just want to join the trend list and act woke. Most things you criticize tacha about, you do worse behind the scene. An annoying generation that lack independent view,” a Twitter user said.

“Tacha is gone but her odour will forever live in the big brother house,” another user said.

“Tacha got Disqualified today and I am seeing videos of people jubilating. How can someone have so much haters in less than 3 months. Tacha was given an opportunity to show herself to Nigerians and she used it to create negativity for herself. Wow!! God have Mercy,” a user said.

Here is what some Nigerians had to say:
