Yvonne Nelson, Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, says African politicians kill the masses by denying them basic things needed for survival not with guns.
African leaders have always come under criticism over their alleged incompetence to develop the continent despite its huge economic potentials.
Joining the fray, the 34-year-old movie star said it is unfortunate that some politicians in the continent have made life unbearable for their citizens through policies that are inimical to societal well-being.
“……..well In Africa, its our politicians who do the killing with hunger, poor health systems, lack of potable water, poor road networks, etc. They don’t even have to touch you….their policies and greed will. They don’t kill with guns!” she wrote on her Twitter page on Saturday.

The gifted actress has been critical of governance and socio-economic issues in Africa.
In December last year, she had taken a swipe at her country’s leadership, wondering why Ghana still remains “colonised” despite attaining independence several years ago.
“Charley, I wake up every morning wondering why we are where we are! With all our resources! We are still being colonised,” she had written.
Last year, the Ghanaian actress also confirmed her breakup with Jamie Roberts, her rugby player baby daddy, with whom she has a child.
