Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has taken to social media to celebrate Psquare on their 41st birthday.

Obi shared a photo of Paul and Peter Okoye on his Instagram page on Friday.

In the post, he prayed for “more blessings” for the twin brothers while appreciating them for supporting his presidential ambition.

“My dear @imkingrudy and @peterpsquare of the Psquare fame, I wish you more blessings as you celebrate your birthday today. Thank you for lending your voice to the obidient movement. Our labour will never be in vain. Happy birthday Psquare,” he wrote.

Psquare had in June declared their support for the LP presidential candidate.

Paul described Obi as the “most qualified” candidate while urging people to vote for him in the forthcoming election.

Lola Omotayo, the wife of Peter Okoye, earlier prayed that the duo “never turn their backs on each other again”.

Peter and Paul parted ways in 2017 after a disagreement on the role of Jude Okoye, their older brother, as manager.

They finally ended their nearly five-year feud in November 2021 and held their first headline concert later in December.

Peter had earlier blamed fans for pitting them against each other with constant comparison.

Paul, however, said family-related issues — and not music — led to Psquare’s breakup.
