Friska Farms Limited has launched #GiftWellness, an initiative aimed at providing free health insurance cover for its customers during the yuletide.

In a statement on Wednesday, the company said the initiative, launched in partnership with Hygeia HMO Limited, was designed to encourage customers to make health and wellness a priority as the year winds down.

It said the campaign, which will be launched on December 13, 2020 will run through the yuletide period to January 15, 2021.

According to the company, customers will enjoy huge discounts and free basic health insurance cover from Hygeia HMO through 2021.

It explained that customers that purchase 10 packs of Friska’s brand of herbal teas automatically qualify for free 1-year basic health insurance cover.

It also said, “although Friska herbal teas are available in over 1,000 outlets across Nigeria, the offer only runs on its digital platforms and is only available while stock lasts.”

Usman Imanah, Friska Farms CEO, said the initiative becomes imperative in the wake of the “challenging” nature of the outgoing year.

“2020 has been a challenging year and if it has taught us anything, it is the fact that we must put our health first. We should not wait till it’s too late to pay attention to their health,” he said.

Also speaking, Obinnia Abajue, Hygeia HMO CEO, said such collaboration resonates with its mission to “make access to quality healthcare affordable for all Nigerians is boosted by this collaboration.”
