The singer took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to share a string of pictures of him in a hospital alongside a video wherein he could be seen incapacitated in an ambulance.

He also appreciated God that an ambulance and the police showed up in less than 5 minutes.

“Thank God the ambulance and cop showed up in less than 5 minutes,” he wrote in a terse note to accompany the visuals.

The cause of his hospitalisation is unknown as the ‘Turn It Up’ singer is yet to reveal what led to his confinement to the ambulance.

YQ, whose real name is Yakub Jubril, started his music career in 2003 after he formed Q-Krest, a musical group.

He began his solo career in 2007 when he joined 2Koncept Entertainment, and then went ahead to release several hit songs including ‘Efimile’ featuring Dagrin, the late Nigerian rapper; ‘I Like Girls’, ‘Dress Code’ and ‘Sandalili’.

In 2020, the ‘Tomorrow Ain’t Promised’ singer tied the knot with his long-term partner. Both lovers had been engaged since 2018 but kept the news off social media.
