Yemi Alade, Nigerian Afropop songstress, has taken to social media to share news of her upcoming album dubbed ‘Woman of Steel’.
The album is coming after the 30-year-old ‘Johnny’ singer joined forces with Rick Ross, American Grammy-winning rapper, for a remix of her 2018 single ‘Oh My Gosh’.
The album would reportedly feature Angelina Kidjo, Beninese singer and actress, noted for her diverse musical influences and creative music videos, Funke Akindele and Duncan Mighty.
Yemi Alade has achieved incredible milestones in the music scene that could undoubtedly place her among the country’s biggest exports. In 2017, she released her 12-track album ‘Black Magic’ under the platform of Effzzyie Music Group.
‘Black magic’ had come after the success of her sophomore album ‘Mama Africa’ and her gigantic debut ‘King of Queens’.
Aside from the fact that she earned herself the MTV African Music award and the BET award, Yemi Alade also made the 2018 Forbes under 30 honoree list and was unveiled as part of the “2018 most influential people in Africa.”
