Blaqbonez, the Nigerian rapper, has put out a new single titled ‘Go Crazy’.

The track, announced via the rapper’s social media platforms on Friday, showcases his trademark blend of humour and braggadocio over a fast-paced, club-ready beat.

Blaqbonez also delivered his signature witty bars in the high-energy single.

The song features the rapper’s characteristic playful lyricism, with standout lines like “Where the money I go locate it/Them be hating like road safety…Schwarzenegger, terminating/See the cash that we violating”.

Produced entirely by Blaise Beatz, ‘Go Crazy’ combines elements of Afrobeats and hip-hop, creating an infectious anthem primed for viral moments and dance challenges.

“Yeah, where the money I go locate it/ Them be hating like road safety, Abena/ Certified, I dey go steady/ Ten ladies, three-man jeep, whip all/Go crazy, go crazy, go crazy, crazily, so crazy/ Schwarzenegger, terminating, see the cash that we violating/ Everybody wanna go crazy, when the DJ play my thing, Abena/ Look around me, we ball crazy/ All my haters don dey love my thing, Abena,” he sings.

Born Emeka Akumefule, Blaqbonez first broke into mainstream consciousness with his 2021 debut album ‘Sex Over Love’.

His 2023 sophomore effort ‘Emeka Must Shine’ further cemented his status as one of Nigeria’s most innovative rap talents, earning him a spot on Rolling Stone’s ’50 Innovators Shaping Rap’s Future’ list in August 2023.

Despite his success, the rapper has been vocal about the pressures of fame, recently revealing how constant public scrutiny affects his personal life.
