Wizkid, the award-winning musician, has unfollowed everyone on Instagram where he has nearly 16 million followers.
Checks on his page by TheCable Lifestyle showed he is no longer following anyone.
It remains to be seen what informed his decision — as of the time of this report.
The development comes as the singer teased fans about a new album titled ‘SeiLess’.
In a terse post, the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner wrote: “new album SeiLess”.
He, however, did not provide further details on the project.
The announcement is coming a few weeks after he released ‘More Love Less Ego’, his fifth album.
Wizkid had earlier explained why he gave his fifth album the titled.
“The phrase ‘More Love Less Ego’ is part of my life, it is like a progression. The last one was ‘Made In Lagos’, that is where I’m from. You already know where I’m from,” he had said.
“It’s just to show you what the world needs actually at this time, right now, at this moment. It’s absolutely more love and less ego.”
The ‘Fever’ crooner’s four other studio albums include ‘Superstar’ (2011), ‘Ayo’ (2014), ‘Sounds From The Other Side’ (2017), and ‘Made In Lagos’ (2020).
‘Made In Lagos’ got two nominations at the 2022 edition of the Grammy Awards.
With several hit projects and awards, Wizkid has established himself as a household name in the global music industry.
