Fresh off an almost 4-month hiatus from the music scene, Wizkid, Nigerian Afro-pop star, is back and set to take down some provinces in Canada for his upcoming tour.
The multi award-winning singer took to his official Instagram page on Wednesday to inform his fans and music lovers that he will be visiting Canada for a tour of five locations, starting on Friday, March 29.
“Canada lets rage!!. I’m otw! #Backonroad!! Tings tings,” he wrote.
Wizkid is expected to begin his tour on Friday in Toronto, after which he will storm Ottawa on Saturday, March 30, to thrill fans with spectacular performance.
On Sunday, March 31, the Afropop superstar, would be performing in Montreal while fans at Edmonton and Vancouver will get several flavours of ‘Wizkid stew’ on April 5 and 6, respectively.
The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner had announced his intention to take a break in January only to return with news that he had new music on the way.
A few days later, the 28-year-old songwriter released a teaser on a yet-to-be-released music collaboration with Teniola Apata, a development that sparked a flurry of excitements among eagerly waiting Nigerians on social media.
The new record which is yet to be officially released is titled ‘Jah Bless Me’.
