The 40th Miss Nigeria will be crowned Monday, December 19, during the grand finale of the annual beauty pageant.
This was announced in a statement released on Friday following the conclusion of the auditions which were held for contestants in Port Harcourt, Abuja, Enugu and Lagos
“There was a huge turnout of contestants vying for the crown. The reigning queen, Pamela Peter-Vigboro was present at the Lagos auditions to encourage the contestants.
“Interviews and screenings were conducted by experienced pageant judges,’’ the statement said.
Ladies who made it to the competition would be camped together in a location where they would get empowerment training, choreography, etiquette classes and maximum fun.
The pageant will hold at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
