Sophia Momodu, mother of Imade Adeleke, Davido’s first child, has responded to a statement made by the singer with respect to their trip to Ghana.
Davido had earlier explained why Sophia and his little girl flew with him to Ghana.
“My daughter’s mother had her business in Ghana with Afrochella selling Imade’s hair products at stalls and I was obviously booked to perform at Afronation,” he had said.
His explanation was on the back of claims that he was having a fling with his baby mama in the wake of the trip to the west African country.
He had said he gave her a lift for the sake of Imade who “I didn’t want to be left in Lagos without her mom. It was either that or she flies economy.”
Apparently cheesed off, the fashion entrepreneur took to her Instagram page to react to Davido’s ‘economy class’ comment with an hashtag: “We fly first or business class”.
“Entering 2020 jst how I like it.. with my best girl & on the move #2020WeMoveNoMatterWhat #BreakingLimits #WeFlyFirstOrBuisnessClass,” she wrote.
Still upset, she jumped on her Snapchat story to state that she never asked Davido for a lift in the first place.
“I’m about to burn this whole shit down cos I neverrrrr asked for a lift,” she vented.
Sophie is also a cousin to Dele Momodu, Nigerian Journalist.
