Tems, the Nigerian singer and songwriter, has come through with the visuals of ‘Crazy Tings’, lead single off ‘If Orange Was A Place’, her sophomore EP.
The 26-year-old songstress released the music video on Thursday, after days of teasing.
The less than four-minute visuals see the singer reflects on a relationship with a supposed lover.
With her unique alternate sound accompanying the high definition video, Tems’ simple style sets her apart from the chaotic crowd at the background of the visuals.
Since releasing ‘For Broken Ears’, her 7-track debut EP, in 2020, Tems, better known as Temilade Openiyi, has continued to blaze the trail in the Nigerian music industry.
Her effort on ‘Essence’, a hit single off ‘Made In Lagos’, Wizkid’s fourth album, has also drawn international attention to the alternative singer.
Following the unprecedented achievement recorded by ‘Essence’, she recently received a platinum plaque after the song attained over 400,000 sales in the US.
On Thursday, MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) announced the nomination of the ‘Rebel’ singer for the ‘Best African Act’ category, alongside Wizkid, Amaarae, Diamond Platnumz, and Focalistic.
