Seun Kuti, the Afrobeat singer, has performed at the 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Kuti, alongside Egypt 80, his band, opened his set on Saturday night with the classic ‘Everything Scatter’.
The music star wore a blue ensemble as he delivered an amazing performance at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California.
Kuti’s Coachella appearance follows his surprise guest performance in March, when Lenny Kravitz invited him on stage during the Munich stop of his Blue Electric Light European tour.
The 2025 Coachella marks the singer’s second appearance in the event’s history after first performing in 2012.
The music festival is scheduled to run over two weekends this year, from April 11 to 13 and April 18 to 20.
Rema, the Nigerian artiste, is also billed to perform on Sunday, April 13.
Last year, Tems thrilled the crowd at Coachella 2024 when she performed ‘Essence’ alongside Wizkid and Justin Bieber.
The headliners of this year’s Coachella include Lady Gaga, Travis Scott, Post Malone, and Green Day.
Other artistes slated to perform include Tyla, Ty Dolla $ign, Glorilla, Megan Thee Stallion, Saint Jhn, Erez, Ginger Roots, Gel, Shaboozey, T-Pain, Speed, Muni Long, Missy Elliott, Lola Young, and Amaarae.
