Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has thrilled the audience at the global conference organised by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) with a rendition of ‘Buga‘, Kizz Daniel’s hit track.
Osinbajo graced the conference on Tuesday at the National Arts Theatre, Iganmu in Lagos state.
The conference, which started on Monday, is scheduled to end on Wednesday.
In a Twitter post, Laolu Akande, media aide to the vice-president, said his principal represented President Muhammadu Buhari as a special guest of honour to receive Zurab Pololikashvili, UNWTO’s secretary-general, to the event.
Akande said the conference focuses on leveraging the tourism and creative industries for economic growth.
“VP Osinbajo is in Lagos today representing Mr. President as Special Guest of Honour to receive and join the secretary general of the UN World Tourism Organisation Mr. Zurab Pololikashvili at the global conference for promotion & linking together of tourism & creative industries,” he wrote.

In a now-viral video from the event, Osinbajo was heard singing the hit track while the audience also joined him.
He was also seen lifting his arms up in a pompous fashion — in what has become the trademark sign of the song.
Since its release, ‘Buga’ has enjoyed massive reception among music lovers and prominent figures across the globe.
A challenge was earlier created on social media platforms to promote the hit track.
In September, footage of Matthew Hassan Kukah, the Catholic bishop of Sokoto diocese, also vibing to the song on his 70th birthday went viral.
