Paul Apel Papel, a Nigerian film director, has put out the official trailer for ‘Eagle Wings’, a forthcoming thriller which is Nollywood and Nigerian military’s first film collaboration.
The less than three-minute footage, released on Friday, featured several movie stars like Enyinna Nwigwe, Femi Jacobs, Yakubu Mohammed, Uzee Usman, Funky Mallam, Nazareth Jesse, Saeed Mohammed, Abdul U. Zada, Patience Ujah among others.
The movie is an action war thriller centered around the true accounts of the tragic experiences of an air force fighter pilot who is caught in the heat of insurgency.
“The film explores the often tragic, yet thrilling business of fighting for life, peace, and the freedom to love in the face of great violence. An uplifting journey through a terror-filled landscape and the power of newly found love, faith, duty and sacrifice,” a statement on his YouTube channel read.
The movie is written, produced and directed by Paul Apel Papel.
TheCable Lifestyle had earlier reported how the Nigerian air force supplied military equipment for the movie during the filming process in March 2020.
Nwigwe, an actor who featured in the movie, had also shared some behind-the-scenes-photos on social media last year.
