Netflix has finally put out the official trailer for ‘Namaste Wahala,’ Nollywood’s first-ever movie with Bollywood.


The trailer, which was released on Sunday, offers a glimpse into the movie ahead of its February 14 release date.

It introduces the two main characters: an Indian investment banker and a Nigerian lady who is a lawyer. The love story becomes complicated as they both tackle cultural differences with their parents to enable their marriage to work out.

Among the Nigerian filmstars who featured in the romantic thriller are Richard Mofe-Damijo, Joke Silva, and MI. Others are Samuel Perry, a comedian also called Broda Shaggi; Sujata Segal, an Indian actress; and Adaora Mbelu.


The movie was initially set to premiere in cinemas on April 24, 2020, but got postponed to October due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is now set to hit Netflix as an original on Valentine’s Day.
