Fireboy and Pheelz, two Nigerian singers, treated the world to some Afrobeats music at the stage of the 2022 BET Awards.
The BET Awards annually celebrate African Americans in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment.
Its 2022 edition held as scheduled on June 27 at the Microsoft Theatre in LA.
Fireboy and Pheelz performed as part of a lineup of globally respected musicians including Babyface, Chance The Rapper, Chlöe, Doechii, Ella Mai, GIVĒON, and Jack Harlow.
The event began with a live red carpet session in a pre-show hosted by Terrence Jenkins.
This year’s presenters included Daniel Kaluuya, Idris Elba, Janelle Monáe, Kelly Rowland, and Tamar Braxton.
Wizkid and Tems were among the biggest winners at the event.
