Adedamola Adefolahan, Nigerian afro-pop singer better known as Fireboy, has come through with the visuals of ‘Playboy’, his hit single.
The ‘Peru’ crooner took to his social media pages on Thursday to announce the official release of the song’s video.
The video opens up with the cinematographer giving his zealous audience aesthetic details of the well-detailed background.
In the less than four-minute video, directed by Boy Director, the singer touches on the lavish lifestyle of a real playboy.
He also enlisted the presence of Rema, a fellow Afrobeats singer, in the video.
The Hugh Hefner-inspired video was directed by TG Omori.
“Girl don’t flex with the boy, your body is a mad ting/ she wanna roll with the mandem/ when i drop yunno it’s an anthem/ Ooof! girlie wanna play with a big playboy like me/ Ooof! girlie wanna play with a big playboy like me,” he sings.
Fireboy had earlier announced that he would be releasing his third studio album also titled ‘Playboy’, later in the year.
He has put out two studio albums thus far which are ‘Laughter Tears, & Goosebumps’ (2019) and ‘Apollo’ (2020).
