Falz, the rapper, has aimed a dig at the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in a new single titled ‘Yakubu’.

The rapper announced the release of the song via his social media pages on Thursday.

In ‘Yakubu’, Falz joins forces with Vector, the rapper, who spices up the tune with his bars.

In the song, the rappers hit at the INEC chairman over the conduct of the just concluded election.

The 2023 general election began on February 25. On March 28, INEC concluded the last phase of the election.

There were, however, reports of attack, intimidation, and violence at the polls.

“Mr Yakubu! E ma n se bi fraudster, you don’t want to prosper, come and collect Oscar, 300 billion te gbà lówó ìjoba, Kí le fi se ná sir ? You wayo the number,” the song lyrics read.

The ‘Bop Daddy’ crooner also put out a colourful video that illustrates what he claimed to be a series of events that happened at the collation centres.

The melodious track was produced by Chillz.

On March 20, the rapper claimed Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos, “wasn’t re-elected but selected himself”.

Falz began his career in 2009. He has since then established himself as not just an artiste but also an activist.

He currently owns an independent label called Bahd Guys Records.
