The 30-year-old took to his social media page on Thursday to share a trailer teaser of the project while expressing his excitement about featuring in the film.

The movie, directed by Kayode Kasum, follows the story of Quam (Falz), a security guard, and his sudden rise to opulence after getting N300 million.

The less than one-minute video showed the rapper in different contexts — from living a flamboyant life to being imprisoned.

According to him, the project is a collaborative work involving House21 TV, his movie and television production company, Inkblot and FilmOne.

He added that the project — billed to hit cinemas on December 11 — will be the first feature film to be produced by his movie company.

“This is @House21_TV‘s first feature film and we are excited to be collaborating with @InkblotPresents and @filmoneng. Also, this is my first ever lead role in any movie. #QuamsMoney is hitting all cinemas on December 11th 2020,” he wrote on Twitter.
