Davido, the Afrobeats star, has shared a “neat” video for ‘Jaye Lo’, a song by DMW’s new signee Logos Olori.
Last month, Davido provoked widespread criticism over the previous visuals for ‘Jaye Lo’.
In the clip, some men dressed in white Jalabiya could be seen dancing in front of a mosque.
Despite pulling down the video, some Muslims demanded a public apology from Davido.
Some youths from Maiduguri, Borno state capital, also set a large banner of the singer on fire to register their anger.
The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) had called on the Department of State Services (DSS) to probe Davido.
The music star, however, remained reticent despite the public criticism on social media.
On Friday, the 30-year-old singer took to social media pages to announce the new music video for ‘Jaye Lo’.
In the new clip, Olori is seen showing off his body and dance moves in the midst of some vixens.
Checks by TheCable Lifestyle, however, showed that the controversial scene from the initial video was taken off.
DMW, in a terse note, described the latest clip for ‘Jaye Lo’ as “neat visuals” with a “pleasing style”.
Davido also urged his fans to support Olori by watching the new video which he called “2.0”.
“The official visuals to @logosolori Jaye Lo single Out Now!!! 30BG let’s run it up!!! This video too swag abeg!! Olori Gbemidebe 🔥🔥🔥2.0 ACTIVATED !!” he wrote on X.
