The new documentary tells the story of the ‘Ye’ crooner’s background, upbringing, artistry and his journey into the music scene.

In the 18-minute footage, Burna Boy and his manager share details of the singer’s early days in the industry and his initial motivations for venturing into music making.

The Youtube series in which the singer featured is dedicated to detailing stories “of artists pushing the boundaries of creativity and connecting with fans in unique and powerful ways”.

This is not the first time Burna Boy would be receiving a recognition of this sort from the renowned American video sharing platform.

In 2018, the singer got the ‘Artiste on the Rise’ feature, YouTube’s archival play-list – which highlights new music stars who merit the title and also promotes their music on the US trending page and social media ads.
