Bella Shmurda, Nigerian street singer, has come through with the visuals for ‘World’, his new and reflective song.

The music video, which was released on Monday, comes a few weeks after the singer had put out the audio.

The video, shot by Aje Filmworks, is relayed from the perspective of two boys observing the cognitive dissonance of the adults milling around them.

The visuals opens with a plus-sized woman peddling sachets of “slimming tea” to a gaggle of ladies who are slimmer than her. It is followed by the shots of a masquerade getting mugged by a sanctimonious mob.

It also includes a clip of a pastor garishly dressed in bling while surrounded by five bodyguards.

This sequence cues into lyrics: “Men marry men, women marry women/Nobody fear God, only scared of death/Pastor using black power/Father making love to his daughter/See people going to church of Satan/Rich man worshipping Lucifer.”

Bella started pulling the weights of fame when he dropped ‘Vision 2020’, his 2019 single, wherein he talked about his quest to take the country’s music industry by storm.

He continued his impressive run in 2020 with the release of ‘Cash App,’ a hit song, which featured Zlatan Ibile and Lincoln.

The song has not only shot him into the limelight but also earned him recognition.
