Basketmouth has tapped Buju for the visuals of ‘Your Body,’ the first track from ‘Horoscope,’ his upcoming album.
The Nigerian comedian, whose real name is Bright Okpocha, announced the release of the music video on his verified Instagram page on Thursday.
The less than three minutes visuals feature Basketmouth as a therapist who tries to proffer solutions to the relationship problems between Buju and his visibly agitated girlfriend.
The video kicks off after he’s planted a pair of virtual reality devices onto the couple, and he sends them back into their memories with just one click.
The result was a voyage into how the lovers’ once brightly burning flame of passion extinguished into ashes of agitations and laments.
As we journey into the topsy-turvy love story of the couple, Buju sings: “I ain’t built for love, and you know/ She stated facts I denied that/ Your time would suffice girl you know/I got some things I wanna know.”
Basketmouth, who recently signed a music deal with Empire, a US-based record label, is expected to release ‘Horoscope,’ his second studio project soon.
