Asake, the Nigerian singer, entertained the concertgoers at the 19000-capacity Barclays Centre, New York, on Friday night during his ‘Work of Art’ US tour.

Dressed in a biker’s attire, Asake delivered a spectacular performance from his impressive catalogue of hit songs.

The ‘Ọmọ Ope’ hitmaker made a grand entry with ‘Organise’, one of his bestselling songs, before he gave an exhilarating performance of ‘Lonely At The Top’, a track off the latest album.

One of the videos shared on social media showed the moment Asake performed with a baby on stage.

The crowd screamed for more as Odumodublvck, Black Sherif and Fireboy DML also took to the stage to support Asake.

Also in attendance at the sold-out concert was Nana, the wife to Femi Otedola, the Nigerian business mogul.

Asake is now believed to be the first Afrobeats artiste to headline and sell out the Barclays Centre.

Born Ahmed Ololade, Asake has continued to enjoy a positive reception from music lovers since he came into the limelight.

He has also won an avalanche of awards for his craft.

Upon the release of ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe,’ his debut album, all 12 songs occupied the top spots on Apple Music’s Top 100 chart in Nigeria.

He recently snagged the ‘Next Rated’ and the ‘Album of the Year’ categories at the 16th Headies Awards in Atlanta.
