Wizkid and Tems jointly performed ‘Essence’, their collaborative hit song, in the United States.
Wizkid invited Tems on stage at the Lost In Riddim Festival in Sacramento, California on Saturday.
Clips of them both evoking cheers in front of the audience late into the night surfaced on social media on Sunday.
Others who were billed to perform on the same day are Fireboy, Rema, Johnny Drille, Ladipoe, Tekno, and Rotimi.
Musicians including Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Joeboy, and Mr. Eazi are all billed to perform on Sunday.
In July, ‘Essence’ became the first Nigerian song to crack the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the third from Africa.

After four weeks, ‘Essence’ would record another leap, climbing by 23 spots on the Hot 100 to hit 59th place.
In a surprise move, Wizkid had released a remix to the global hit, featuring Justin Bieber, Canadian pop star.
The sales for the initial single were subsequently merged with those of the remix, seeing them chart as one song.
‘Essence’ would later achieve a rise to 16th place from 44 on week 6, having spent two months on the chart.
