A group of Nigerian soldiers performed ‘Buga’, a song by Kizz Daniel, the singer, in Abuja.
In a now-viral video that surfaced on social media, the military was seen presenting an acoustic rendition of the hit.
The song was performed at the forecourt of the state house to commemorate the 2023 Democracy Day.
In attendance were President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Also at the event were Ahmad Lawan, senate president, and Femi Gbajabiamila, speaker of the house of representatives.
Kizz Daniel gained fame with his breakout hit ‘Woju’ in 2015.
He has since built his place in the Nigerian music industry with subsequent chart-topping releases.
Some of these include ‘Mama,’ ‘Lie,’ and ‘True’.
In 2022, Kizz Daniel collaborated with Tekno, a Nigerian singer, on the track ‘Buga’
Since its release, ‘Buga’ has enjoyed massive reception among music lovers across the globe.
Daniel is the owner of the Fly Boy Inc. record label.
He has received several awards and recognitions for his craft.
