Portable, the controversial Nigerian singer, has been caught on video ordering his associates to beat up a car dealer over alleged failure to deliver his new vehicle.
In an Instagram live, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker was seen interrogating the dealer, who was seated on the floor, regarding the whereabouts of his car.
The singer said he had been expecting the vehicle from the United States for over two weeks, but the dealer had “consistently provided excuses”.
Portable alleged that the dealer had misled him about the car’s status, initially claiming customs seized it. He said upon investigation, he discovered it was “untrue”.
“Where is my car? I will destroy your life. Do you want to kill me or scam me?” he asked.
“He helped me ship a new car from America. It has been two weeks and I have not gotten my car.
“I was supposed to announce the purchase of the car on social media yesterday but he has been deceiving me.
“He told me the car was seized by customs. I got to the customs office, but there was nothing.
“Why could you not tow it? When I called him about my car yesterday, he told me to come to Owode.
“When I got there he said he was at Idiroko, I drove there from Island. So I told him to enter my car and I drove him down to my house.”

The incident marks the second assault case involving Portable in a short span. On Monday, the singer slapped a man for preaching at his bar.
Born Habeeb Okikiola, Portable gained fame in December 2021 with the release of ‘Zazoo Zeh’, his hit single featuring Olamide and Poco Lee.
Since then, he has been in the public eye for controversial reasons.
In May, Portable was arrested by the Lagos police for allegedly failing to pay the debt he incurred after purchasing his G-Wagon from a car dealer.
In March, Portable got into a physical altercation with Kesari Okala, the content creator, at Computer Village in Lagos.
He was recently captured in a street fight with a man over an alleged phone theft.
