At the beginning of 2016, not even the best fortune tellers could have accurately predicted that Olajumoke Orisaguna, a former bread hawker, would get a modelling contract, an apartment, and an education.
No one could have seen it coming just like not many touted Donald Trump to win the U.S. presidential election.
But here we are, in November 2016 — nine months after being discovered by TY Bello, photographer/musician — the mother of one has started taking baby steps with her command of the English language.
During her 15 minutes of fame, Olajumoke was enrolled in the Poise Academy, which helps “create class and brand people”.
At Poise, Olajumoke is undergoing training on English language proficiency, communication, etiquette, and social graces.
A recent video shared by the academy showed her progress and obvious improvement.
It’s been a long journey, but the joy and confidence she exudes after her lessons makes every moment count. #OlajumokeGoesToPoise pic.twitter.com/V65KY1FCb2
